At Blessed Sacrament, service is an essential part of who we are. Every month, students engage in meaningful service projects that provide a powerful platform to embrace their faith, practice compassion, and contribute meaningfully to the world. Following Christ's footsteps, we believe that service is a cornerstone of our education. Students actively participate in projects that benefit different organizations throughout our community. These experiences are more than just tasks; they provide opportunities for students to become active members of society, develop valuable life skills, and leave a lasting impact. By serving those in need, students learn valuable lessons about empathy, responsibility, and the joy of giving back.

NOVEMBER SERVICE PROJECT

Our school-wide November service project will be all about pies. 26 years ago, Dr. Coppola began a tradition with the first-grade classes to make pumpkin pies for the Rescue Mission’s Thanksgiving dinner. We are one of the largest contributors to their Thanksgiving dinner. This year we will be continuing the tradition of making and baking the pies right here at BSS. It will be a school-wide effort and all students will help prepare the pumpkin pies.

SUPPLIES NEEDED
1 can (8oz.) of solid-pack pumpkin pie filling
1 can of evaporated milk
1 package of Pillsbury or Marie Calendar frozen pie shells
NO ROLLED PIE CRUSTS
Cash donations are accepted for the purchase of eggs, sugar, and spices. Send in an envelope marked Pumpkin Pie Donations.

ALL DONATIONS ARE NEEDED BY MONDAY, NOVEMBER 17th.
