Character Education Program
E.A.G.L.E.S. Pride Program:
We have designed a program which provides Blessed Sacrament School positive school wide behavior expectations.
Each day, students recite our “Personal Responsibility Pledge” which is a daily reminder of being accountable for actions and how actions effect others.
No Bullying Program:
We do not tolerate bullying in our school. We give students’ the empowerment to identify, report , and stop bullying behavior.
The Program for Achieving Character Education (PACE) is a faith-based Character Education program for the home and/or school environment. PACE uses, among other resources, two books by William J. Bennett. Bennett is an author and was the Secretary of Education under Ronald Reagan. His two books, The Book of Virtues and The Moral Compass, are collections of hundreds of stories designed to develop character traits. Through the use of mythology, philosophy, religious stories, speeches, poems, and fairy tales, the stories illustrate the difference between right and wrong, and provide numerous examples of moral character.
